Community & awareness

Community Standing Together

Awareness begins with neighbors who show up for one another. Every year Killeen residents, advocates, and officers gather to say plainly that domestic violence has no place here — and that support is close by.

Awareness & education

Knowledge saves lives. Recognizing the patterns of domestic violence — and knowing what help exists — builds a community that notices, believes, and acts.

You are not alone

Whatever you are facing, help is here. Support, safety, and hope stay within reach — today, and for as long as you need them.

“Healing is not a straight line. Whatever step you are on, Killeen Victim Services will walk it with you.”

You do not have to walk it alone

Your rights & how to help

Legal protections in Texas, ways to take action, and official KPD material.

Help us raise awareness

Children exposed to domestic violence are at higher risk for mental health issues, substance abuse, and continuing the cycle of violence. We must break this cycle by speaking up about abuse, supporting organizations assisting survivors, donating to prevention programs, and advocating for policies that better protect victims.

Domestic violence impacts millions of Americans every year, leaving behind a trail of pain, fear, and trauma. Together, we can bring hope and healing. This event is dedicated to raising awareness, supporting survivors, and ensuring that no voice is left unheard.
